Spirit Art: Where Creativity Meets Spirit
Art has the power to speak to our souls in ways words often cannot. Spirit Art is a unique blend of intuition, energy, and creativity, channeling messages from Spirit into visual forms that inspire, heal, and connect. Each piece carries a story—a whisper from the universe, a nudge toward healing, or a reminder of the love and energy that surrounds us all.
Paintings:
As a psychic and a medium, I learned about channeling Spirit. One of the ways this occurs for me is through the creative process of painting, usually with watercolors or acrylics. I meditate and pray, then feel led to select the colors and paints to use. As the paintings develop, I often see shapes and patterns forming which lead me to the next steps, until the painting is finished.
Sometimes I have someone or something in mind when I begin. Other times, I am not sure who it is for or why I am creating it but it generally becomes clear before long. I often make cards in batches around a holiday or just to celebrate a season, like summer or fall. As I complete the cards, they speak to me and I know who they are meant for. I am happy to report that once in a while one comes through for me or a loved one at just the right time to cheer them up or celebrate an accomplishment, or the memory of a loved one in Spirit.
Smoke Billets
Another way I communicate with Spirit is through creation of a smoke billet. This is created by holding an index card over a flame, then interpreting the image that forms from the smoke. These images provide messages from Spirit which can evolve and change over time. These can be difficult to preserve, as they smudge to the touch, but can be handled with care and kept on a mantel or bookshelf. If done via a remote session, they can be mailed for an extra charge but there is no way to guarantee that they will not smudge. A photo can be taken and sent by text or email.
Spirit Art Readings
Spirit Art Readings can be conducted on Zoom or in person. These require extra time to prepare, create, and interpret plus a full one-hour reading. Mailing charges are extra depending on location and type of mail service (regular mail, delivery tracking, etc.). Painting will be done in watercolor on a 4 in by 6 in watercolor card. Extra embellishments and effects can be offered for nominal additional costs.
- One Hour Spirit Art Reading: $165
- Crystal Embellishments: $5 extra per crystal
- Glow Effect: $10 extra per card
- Mailing – extra depending on type of service and delivery, tracking, etc.

Giving Back Through Art
One creation especially close to my heart is a Spirit Art card I designed for my brother, Douglas Baumwoll, during his battle with glioblastoma. Proceeds from the sale of this card are donated to the Brain Tumor Network, a nonprofit organization in Florida that provides guidance and support for individuals facing brain tumors.
